This 2428 page bi-monthly newsletter is produced for the Clearwater
Bar Association. Articles and regular features are interspersed
throughout the publication, along with advertising to defray its
cost. Besides creating the artwork for the newsletter itself, we
also create many of the advertisements.

The Napoleonic Society of America has been one of our clients for
many years. We took over the layout of their 40 page quarterly newsletter
in 1994. Each issue contains numerous articles submitted by members
along with association news. Content reigns supreme in this piece
so there are few ads. |

MediaTalk Magazine was a bi-monthly publication of a public relations
firm. This 24-page magazine went to radio and television stations
to promote book authors as guests on talk shows. While the cover
was produced in four-color, to keep costs down, the inside pages
were done using just two spot colors.

Communiqué is Precision Marketing's newsletter to clients
and prospects. This quarterly publication features articles to help
doctors with both their practice and their newsletter. This issue
included a popular piece, the poem Ode to the Typographical Error. |

Stationery & Brochures:
Here are a few
examples of business stationery sets and brochures weve created
for clients. Click on thumbnails to see a larger view.

Precision Marketing needed the standard three pieces of stationery
plus shipping labels for our packages. The letterhead was designed
to be reminiscent of a newsletters nameplate.

Dr. Ettinger needed a complete identity kit, including name tags
for his staff (not shown). While the stationery is printed on a
light grey stock, his brochure is on glossy white to make the photos
inside stand out the best.

For Advanced Instruments Hearing Aid Center, not only did they need
the basic stationery set, but also a form for satisfied clients
to share testimonials.

Seniors in Motion was our first logo client. On a shoestring budget,
we kept artwork to two colors. They only wanted envelopes and business
cards for starters. They inserted a special/flyer.

This four color, bi-fold brochure was created for a retirement complex.
Inside are photos showing the attractive rooms and detailing the
medical services also available to residents. Although not noticeable
in the graphic, this brochure has a lightly screened background
to provide texture. The piece was printed on coated card stock.

|
|
This two-color, tri-fold brochure was created for an organization
specializing in providing information on care for the elderly and
disabled, especially regarding legal matters. The piece uses somewhat
larger print to make it easy for older eyes to read.

Advertisements,
Flyers & Postcards:
Many of our clients
rely on us for more than the basic business stationery. They may need
advertisements for magazines or newspapers, flyers,or postcards. Here
are a few examples. Click on the thumbnail for a larger view.

This full page ad was created for Red Sage Publishing, a client
who has been with us since shortly after we opened shop. This two-color
magazine ad was created to promote the client's line of books in
Romantic Times magazine.

One of our long-term Precision Marketing clients joined forces with
other optometrists in her area, forming a network known as Premier
Vision Care. As part of a major advertising campaign, they needed
us to come up with a full page color flyer using the concept of
"youre not just another number at Premier." We developed
three different concepts, and the one you see here was their choice.

Here are a few of the many black and white ads weve created
for the Clearwater Bar Association's Res Ipsa Loquitor. Many
advertisers choose to have us set their ads for publication in this
bi-monthly newsletter that we also typeset.

Ted Schofner is a elder law and personal injury attorney. After
creating his logo, he's had us design numerous black and white advertisements
for his law practice. Here are just a few of them.
|
|
|

Event Management Services is another long-term client. We've not
only created numerous marketing pieces for them, but also for some
of their clients. They sell advertising in sports publications
and weve created black and white ads for them.

This four color hand-out was created as a "leave behind"
piece for the regional rep of a personal clothier company. The client
wanted something more substantial than a business card, but more
convenient to carry than full page flyers. The front, with the rep's
photo illustrates the company's products, while the back uses bulleted
sections to highlight the company, it's services, and the rep's
qualifications.

After relocating her office, this two color, oversized postcard
promoted this dentist's open house. Tied in with the Halloween season,
screens of both the orange and black inks make it appear to have
more than just two colors.

Miscellaneous:
Typesetting and
layout involves a wide range of items. Here are some of the more unusual
ones that don't fit in the basic categories. Click on the thumbnail for
a larger view.

As we mentioned earlier, Red Sage Publishing is one of our original
clients. Each year we typeset their latest collection of novellas
(usually around 224 pages each). With Secrets Volume 4, the
client wanted a more elegant cover design (earlier editions had
been printed in just one ink color to save on printing costs). This
volume features gold foil plus two ink colors, with the inks bleeding
off the edge.
|
|
|

For the follow-up volume, Red Sage Publishing decided to go with
a four color cover. The client had a professional photographer shoot
a variety of photos, then settled on the one you see on the cover.
Again, the word Secrets is in gold foil.
|
|
|

After the prior year's four-color cover using a photograph of a
man, with the next volume, Red Sage Publishing decided on a look
with more universal appeal. Using sumptious red fabric to mimic
rumpled bed linens, this new cover was a big hit. As before, the
Secrets was done in gold foil. With this volume, we returned
to listing the authors on the front cover as well.

Event Management Services runs the annual Trade Show for the Men's
Senior Baseball League (MSBL). Each year, we create several promotional
pieces for them, including some very complex booth layouts. Starting
in 2001, they now also handle the Trade Show for Senior Softball
USA, so now were producing material for that event as well.
